People were feeling the LOVE from Halifax at the Canadian Meetings + Events Expo in Toronto, with our Team Halifax booth and love for our region on full display at the event.

The tradeshow ran from Aug. 16 to 17, and our Team Halifax made a huge splash, with Halifax lettering artist Kristen De Palma’s LOVE Halifax design boldly lighting the way to our booth. This beloved design was featured prominently at our booth, on Team Halifax t-shirts and Peace by Chocolate bars, and directly above us on a banner, guiding all attending CMEE to our little piece of Halifax.

Everyone we met with was greeted by this bright and loud love for Halifax. It fostered countless conversations with new faces and old friends at the event, and helped our Team Halifax partners share how we are making Halifax Canada’s favourite city.

CMEE is the largest and longest-running tradeshow and conference for meeting and event professionals, and brings together meeting planners, international destinations, suppliers, venues, tech companies and décor across a variety of sectors. This means hundreds of people discovered a taste of Halifax at our booth.

CMEE 2022 was a successful event, and an opportunity for Team Halifax to connect with industry colleagues and reintroduce them to our Halifax region, why we LOVE it, and why it’s the best host region for business events in Canada.
