Garrison Grounds

Overview

Managed by Parks Canada, the Garrison Grounds can accommodate crowds ranging from several hundred to as many as 30,000, offering exceptional flexibility for events of varying scales. Available all year around, this centrally located outdoor venue places you in the heart of Halifax while still delivering the charm and character of a historic landmark.

Electricity is available for an additional fee, giving planners the infrastructural support needed to execute seamless productions. For organizers seeking a spacious, adaptable, and truly memorable setting, the Garrison Grounds deliver scale, scenery, and a one-of-a-kind Halifax experience.

Spaces:

• 100,000 square feet (grassy area)
• 80,000 square feet (parking lot) – The parking lot can sometime be rented in addition to the grassy area of the garrison grounds
• 180,000 square feet (all together)
