With two buildings making up approximately 20,000 square feet of space, the Art Gallery of Nova Scotia (AGNS) is the largest art museum in Atlantic Canada. Since 1908, the Gallery has been a gateway for the visual arts in Atlantic Canada. The Gallery’s Permanent Collection currently holds over 19,000 works.

Overview

AGNS offers a unique environment for a meeting, seminar, presentation, or reception. Spaces available for events may include:

  • Lobby: Accommodates up to 70 people for a standing reception
  • Courtyard: Accommodates up to 150 people for a standing reception
  • Seminar Room: Accommodates up to 28 people in an Open-U or Classroom style layouts
  • Windsor Foundation Lecture Theatre: Accommodates up to 80 and is perfect for you next presentation or panel discussion

Note, only some spaces permit food and drink, and some spaces are only available outside of public opening hours. A range of audio/visual and event equipment packages can be added on to any booking.
