Nourishing Notes offers a meaningful, creative way for delegates to support communities while fostering connection and reflection. In this simple yet powerful volunteer experience, participants write handwritten messages of encouragement and care that accompany food deliveries to community organizations across Canada. Each note adds a human touch—reminding recipients that they are seen, valued, and supported.

How it works

This experience is delivered directly to your event. Second Harvest provides materials and guidance, while delegates create thoughtful messages during a self-led session. Completed notes are packaged and distributed alongside food donations through Second Harvest’s partner organizations, helping spread kindness and connection alongside nourishment.
