Offset your event—or delegates’ individual travel footprints—with verified, locally generated carbon credits from Growing Forests, a community-led carbon project developed in Nova Scotia. Operating under the Improved Management protocol with Verified Carbon Standard (Verra) – project ID 5003.

This program keeps climate action local, transparent, and community-benefiting, offering planners a meaningful alternative to traditional offsets while investing directly in nature-based climate solutions within Nova Scotia.

How it works

Event organizers calculate their emissions using any preferred carbon calculator. Growing Forests provides unlimited Verra-registered carbon credits at $50 per credit, which are transferred directly to the purchaser along with an official Growing Forests Carbon Credit Certificate. Their team is also pleased to collaborate on co-branded social media content acknowledging your investment and celebrating your commitment to local climate action.
