Halifax Stanfield International Airport is Atlantic Canada’s centre for domestic, regional and international flight service offering direct flights to and from other Canadian cities, major city centres in the U.S., as well as the UK and Continental Europe. It is approximately a 30 minute drive from Halifax Stanfield International Airport to downtown Halifax. There are several options from limo, taxi or Uber to express shuttle service and local transit – more details on options can be found here.

Halifax’s compact downtown makes getting around easy. Hop on Halifax Transit or grab a cab or Uber to  Or, enjoy a walk or bike ride to your downtown destination.

Conference Venue

The 2026 CSA-SCS Annual Conference will take place in the Marion McCain Arts and Social Sciences Building on the beautiful campus of Dalhousie University. Located in a tree-lined residential area just steps from Halifax’s vibrant downtown core and waterfront, the venue provides modern facilities with an inviting campus atmosphere.
