Pieds à Terre: Acadian Party in a Box

Pieds à Terre, presented by the Societe Acadienne de Clare, brings the joy, rhythm, and living heritage of Acadian culture directly to your event. With a four-piece band and an experienced caller, this lively experience invites delegates to learn and dance traditional Acadian steps—from medieval circular dances to modern square dances—creating a shared celebration of music, movement, and community. Designed for groups of all sizes and abilities.

How it works

Event organizers work with the Pieds à Terre team to organize with in-person session led by the band and caller (bilingual). Facilitators guide delegates through dances tailored to their comfort level, creating an energetic and inclusive atmosphere where anyone can participate, no experience required. The session can be scaled from intimate workshops to large, high-energy celebrations.
