Welcome!
Halifax looks forward to welcoming e-Health26 delegates, June 14 – 16! Here you will find a dedicated page for delegates that will outline everything you’ll need to know to make the most of your visit to our seacoast city.
Halifax is cultured and compact, merging the easygoing with the go-getting. Sunrise to sundown, there’s always more to discover. From the adventurous to the relaxing, and the just plain magical, it’s no wonder we have one of the highest conference attendance rates in Canada.
The beautiful Halifax Convention Centre in the geographic and cultural heart of downtown. Surrounded by multiple hotels, walking distance to countless restaurants; and near theatre, live music, pubs, and shops. Right where you want to be!
Halifax is so easily accessible by air, land and sea; you’ll be here before you know it!
Halifax Stanfield International Airport is Atlantic Canada’s centre for domestic, regional and international flight service offering direct flights to and from other Canadian cities, major city centres in the U.S., as well as the UK and Continental Europe.
It is approximately a 30 minute drive from Halifax Stanfield International Airport to downtown Halifax. There are several options from limo, taxi or Uber to express shuttle service and local transit – more details on options can be found here.
Outside Halifax, Nova Scotia rewards visitors with the world’s highest tides on the Bay of Fundy, vineyard tours in the Annapolis Valley, scenic drives along the iconic Cabot Trail, and world-class golf on dramatic coastal courses.

From lively waterfront dining to historic sites and coastal adventures, Halifax offers something for everyone.
Halifax’s culinary scene is celebrated for its fresh Atlantic seafood—think famous lobster rolls and donairs (the official dish)—plus a wide variety of international cuisine and farm‑to‑table dining on the waterfront.
Halifax’s nightlife pulse runs strong year‑round—from lively pubs and chic cocktail bars to scenic harbour cruises under the night sky.
View the weather in Halifax before your visit. Halifax enjoys a balanced, temperate climate year‑round—winters are milder than inland Canada, and summers remain warm without being oppressively hot.
